The City of Fresno and Fresno Area Express (FAX) are launching a study to look at how Handy Ride paratransit services can meet community needs. We want to improve the services we already have by exploring new on‑demand transit options.

The study will look at opportunities for same‑day bookings and real‑time ride tracking. It will assess improved scheduling tools used in other transit systems. It will review upgrades that help the system work better, run smoothly, and perform well.

We will gather community input through surveys, pop‑up events, and virtual meetings. We will make participation easy for everyone. Outreach will focus on seniors, people with disabilities, and transit‑dependent riders. We also want to hear from communities that are often overlooked in transportation planning.
